  ☺WELCOME TO MY BLOG JOURNAL #6☺ A paragraph about your initial experiences using Diigo.  What do you like/not like about using Diigo?  I am not the biggest fan of Diigo. I personally feel like it didn't really contribute anything to our curriculum and it was more or less one of our more disappointing software options. It felt like a failed attempt at an educational version of Twitter and overall the format doesn't make the site any more appealing. Additionally, as a web extension it is more or less useless and a nuisance in the sense that while Grammarly tends to get in the way while typing, it has its moments of convenience, whereas Diigo popping up whenever I click on certain things annoys me. I personally would not and don't want to implement this software in my classroom, however, I can still somewhat look outside my bias and acknowledge its usability.   ☺WELCOME TO MY BLOG JOURNAL #5☺ Your early experiences using Twitter. With whom have you been interacting and how have you found it beneficial? How might Twitter be helpful in your future career? In terms of my earlier uses of Twitter, it has primarily been to get news as well as interact with people who had the same interests as me (i.e K-Pop, Anime), people who were the same race/ethnicity as me, to receive news regarding domestic and especially global events, etc. I found it beneficial seeing that I got to see the opinions of others and get informed on things that I want to learn about. I would say that I can find it to be helpful in my future career for doing the exact same thing but in the context of visual disabilities education and just overall the education sector, whether it be the United States education system or how other nations operate their educational system.
